如果想要城市中最好的交通、更高的性价比以及方便步行到港口、布鲁克林大桥和世贸中心，一般建议住金融区。若想要更安静的住宅氛围、低矮的鹅卵石街区以及更快到达 SoHo 和西村，并且不介意为更小的房间支付更高费用，则可选择 Tribeca。这两个社区相邻，真正的区别大约是 15 分钟步行路程：从 17 John Street 步行约 15 分钟或乘坐 1 号线三站即可到达 Tribeca 的 Duane Street。
我们先说明一下，我们位于金融区，地址是 17 John Street，所以并非中立方。但客人经常问我们这个问题，通常是类似“我们在考虑 Tribeca，金融区可以吗？”的版本。诚实的答案是，这两个社区相邻，步行约十五分钟即可互通，所以并不是在两个不同的城市之间做选择，而是在两种不同的氛围之间做选择。
